The incident occurred Thursday afternoon at Nabiganj ferry terminal when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
During the Shitalakkhya accident, the car remained afloat for some time, allowing the driver to escape safely by opening the window.
Local boatmen quickly responded, pulling the vehicle toward the riverbank before a crane was used for full recovery. Their prompt action prevented a more serious Shitalakkhya accident.
Officials confirmed that no casualties were reported in the incident.
