বাংলাThe board of directors of listed MIDAS Financing has decided to sell three commercial assets at prevailing market prices. The company will require approval from shareholders and the relevant regulatory authorities before completing the sales.
The information was disclosed by Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) sources on Sunday (August 30). The decision was taken at the company’s 399th board meeting held at 3pm on August 27 at its head office in Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
According to the company’s disclosure, one of the assets is a commercial floor space on the second floor of Nahar Green Summit in Dhanmondi, Dhaka. The property also includes eight car parking spaces. MIDAS Financing plans to sell the property at the prevailing market price.
Another asset is a commercial floor space with one car parking space on the first floor of Excel SM Tower at 62 Zakir Hossain Road in East Nasirabad, Khulshi, Chattogram. The third asset is commercial space on the third floor of Jamil Shopping Center in the Borgola area of Rangpur Road in Bogura Sadar, along with one car parking space.
MIDAS Financing said the assets will be sold at prevailing market prices. However, shareholder approval and approval from the relevant regulatory authorities will be required to finalize the sales.
The decision by MIDAS Financing forms part of the listed company’s corporate asset management activities. The sales process will proceed after the necessary approvals are secured.
