বাংলাThe Directorate of Primary Education has determined the scholarship rates for students selected based on the Primary Scholarship Examination 2025 results. The primary scholarship stipend will be provided under two categories: talent pool and general.
Students receiving the talent pool scholarship will get Tk 300 per month and a one-time annual payment of Tk 225. General scholarship recipients will receive Tk 225 per month and Tk 225 annually as a one-time payment. The primary scholarship stipend will apply from January 1, 2026, for three years.
The Directorate of Primary Education announced the rates and conditions in a letter issued on Sunday, August 30. Students must maintain good conduct, attend school regularly and make satisfactory academic progress to continue receiving the scholarship.
Scholarship recipients will be able to study without tuition fees at government, autonomous or private secondary and lower-secondary schools. However, students who do not enroll in an approved educational institution will not be eligible for the primary scholarship stipend.
The scholarship funds will be transferred to students’ bank accounts through EFT under the Government-to-Person system. Eligible students must open an account with a bank included in the online banking platform and submit the required information to their school and primary education office. The primary scholarship stipend may be suspended or canceled if official conditions are not met.
