বাংলাDMTCL committee has been formed to implement High Court directives aimed at ensuring the safe, reliable and sustainable operation of MRT Line-6.
According to DMTCL, the committee will oversee the implementation of recommendations made by a high-level safety audit panel formed after the October 2025 MRT Line-6 incident.
The DMTCL committee will coordinate implementation, monitor progress and submit regular updates to the High Court through the Road Transport and Highways Division.
DMTCL said the recommendations will strengthen MRT Line-6 operations and improve passenger safety in line with international standards. The DMTCL committee will continue prioritizing commuter safety throughout the implementation process.
