বাংলাMPO-listed teachers and employees at private educational institutions in Bangladesh will receive a 15% house rent allowance on their basic salary starting from July 1.
The allowance was introduced in two phases. An initial 7.5% was implemented during the previous fiscal year, while the remaining 7.5% has now taken effect, bringing the total house rent allowance to 15%.
According to the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE), the revised allowance will be reflected in teachers’ salaries from July.
The Ministry of Finance had approved the phased increase earlier, considering budget limitations. The latest phase officially comes into effect from July 1.
The decision provides additional financial support to thousands of MPO-listed teachers and employees across the country.
