The Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board has directed all madrasas across the country to organize remembrance meetings and special prayers on July Shaheed Day, observed on July 16.
The directive was issued through an emergency notice signed by Registrar Professor S. M. Touhiduzzaman. It follows instructions from the Technical and Madrasa Education Division of the Ministry of Education and decisions taken at an inter-ministerial meeting.
According to the notice, institutions under the board must arrange remembrance programs and special prayers at a convenient time to honor the martyrs of July Shaheed Day.
The board described the directive as highly important and urged heads of institutions and governing bodies to ensure proper implementation. The observance of July Shaheed Day aims to pay tribute to the martyrs and strengthen historical awareness among students.
