বাংলাThe Bangladesh government has kept fuel prices unchanged for September. Diesel, kerosene, octane and petrol will continue to be sold at their previously determined retail rates. The fuel price in Bangladesh will remain unchanged throughout September.
The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources announced the decision in a notice issued on Monday, August 31. Diesel will remain at Tk 115 per liter, kerosene at Tk 135, octane at Tk 145 and petrol at Tk 140.
The prices were previously set through a notification issued by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division on May 31. With approval from the appropriate authority, the existing fuel price in Bangladesh has been retained for September 2026.
The unchanged rates will remain effective from Tuesday, September 1. The same prices were also in effect throughout August, meaning there will be no new adjustment to the fuel price in Bangladesh for September.
Under the government’s latest decision, consumers will continue to pay Tk 115 per liter for diesel, Tk 135 for kerosene, Tk 145 for octane and Tk 140 for petrol. The fuel price in Bangladesh therefore remains at the previous level.
