বাংলাProfessor Dr. Mohammad Ibrahim, a supernumerary professor of the Department of Islamic History and Culture at the University of Dhaka, has passed away. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.
He died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital at around 7:30 pm on Friday (September 25). He was 74 years old.
Dr. Mohammad Ibrahim is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters, along with numerous students, colleagues and admirers.
His funeral prayer is scheduled to be held at 10 pm on Friday at the Central Jame Mosque of the University of Dhaka, according to information available.
The White Panel of the University of Dhaka has expressed grief over the death of Professor Dr. Mohammad Ibrahim. The organization prayed for the eternal peace and forgiveness of the deceased and expressed deep condolences to his bereaved family members, colleagues, students and admirers.
The White Panel said that Dr. Mohammad Ibrahim’s contributions to education and research will be remembered with respect. His death is being mourned by members of the university community.
The passing of Dr. Mohammad Ibrahim has brought grief to his family, colleagues, students and admirers, who have expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
