বাংলাActing Speaker of the National Parliament Barrister Kaiser Kamal has called for building a discrimination-free Bangladesh while standing firmly against imperialism and domination. He paid tribute to those who were killed and injured in the struggle against fascism.
He made the remarks at the cultural programme titled “Songs of the Monsoon Revolution,” held in Dhaka to mark the July Mass Uprising Day.
Kaiser Kamal said that national unity is essential to establish a discrimination-free Bangladesh based on justice, equality, and sovereignty. He also honoured the sacrifices of the martyrs and the wounded.
Chief Whip Nurul Islam Moni said the nation must remain committed to the goals of the uprising, while Whip ABM Ashraf Uddin Nizan stressed the importance of national unity during times of crisis.
Opposition Chief Whip Nahid Islam also urged citizens to work together for a discrimination-free Bangladesh and paid tribute to the July martyrs, emphasizing that their sacrifices should continue to inspire the nation.
