The election was held throughout the day, with voting from 8 AM to 4 PM and results announced late at night.
Advocate M Shah Alam was elected president and Advocate AKM Auwal as general secretary, both known locally as Awami supporters despite running independently.
Meanwhile, BNP-backed Nationalist Lawyers Forum won six positions in the Pirojpur Bar election, including key posts like joint secretary and treasurer.
Party leaders stated internal divisions and rebel candidates affected their results, making the Pirojpur Bar election politically significant.
A total of 212 out of 226 voters cast their ballots, indicating strong participation.
