বাংলাVeteran Bangladeshi actor Ilias Kanchan is returning to Bangladesh for a short visit after spending more than a year in London receiving treatment for a brain tumor.
According to Safe Roads Want Vice President Liton Ershad, Ilias Kanchan will arrive in Bangladesh on Monday afternoon. However, the visit is temporary as he has important medical examinations scheduled in London on August 15.
Family members have ensured the best possible treatment for Ilias Kanchan in London. Although his recovery has not progressed as expected, he expressed a strong desire to return home briefly and meet people in his country.
Last year, Ilias Kanchan underwent brain surgery in London. Due to complications, doctors were unable to remove a significant portion of the tumor. Since then, he has been receiving regular chemotherapy and other treatments.
Reports say he has already completed nearly 60 chemotherapy sessions. After a short stay in Bangladesh, Ilias Kanchan will return to London for the next stage of his treatment and medical evaluation.
