বাংলাPrime Minister Tarique Rahman has said that the government will not tolerate Extremism or any form of radicalism under any circumstances. Speaking at the closing session of Parliament, he expressed hope for full cooperation from the opposition on this issue.
He said political differences are natural in a democracy, but they should never turn into hostility. According to him, national unity is essential to prevent the return of authoritarianism and Extremism.
The Prime Minister also highlighted plans to create millions of jobs, strengthen the economy, and establish a welfare state with equal opportunities for all citizens.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fighting corruption, improving law enforcement, and increasing investment in education and healthcare. He stressed that Extremism and violent ideology will have no place in Bangladesh.
Reiterating the implementation of the July Charter, he said the government remains accountable to the people and is determined to build a democratic, inclusive, and prosperous nation free from Extremism.
