Teacher Recruitment: Emergency Guidelines for All Educational Institutions
According to the Emergency Guidelines for All Educational Institutions, the respective managing committees or governing bodies can now recruit temporary teachers from this local pool. Senior Assistant Secretary Shirin Akter signed the official letter, sent to all DCs and UNOs, emphasizing that delays in NTRCA recruitment have hampered academic progress. These retired experts will ensure the continuity of quality education.
The Emergency Guidelines for All Educational Institutions further specify that the honorarium for these teachers will be covered by the institutions’ own essential funds. The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has been requested to provide necessary oversight. This proactive measure is expected to stabilize the learning environment in rural and urban institutions suffering from faculty shortages.
