বাংলাFact-checking organization Rumor Scanner has confirmed that the viral video involving Satkhira-4 Jamaat MP Gazi Nazrul Islam and a woman is authentic.
Rumor Scanner said in a verified Facebook post that numerous social media posts claimed the viral video was generated using artificial intelligence. However, its investigation found no evidence that the video was AI-generated.
The organization analyzed the content and found no visible inconsistencies in the lengthy viral video. No irregularities were also detected in the audio, according to the fact-checking investigation.
Earlier, after the viral video spread across social media, the Jamaat party had claimed that it was fake and AI-generated. Following fact-check findings, the district Jamaat organization reportedly claimed that the woman in the video was the MP’s second wife.
The incident highlights the importance of verifying viral content through reliable fact-checking organizations before accepting claims circulating on social media.
