Bollywood actor Salman Khan has expressed support for students protesting allegations of exam paper leaks. He said the students’ protest is closely linked to transparency in the examination system and the future of students.
In a social media post on Wednesday night, Salman Khan praised the courage and patience of the protesting students. He said their effort to raise demands peacefully was inspiring.
Calling exam paper leaks a serious issue, the actor urged that the students’ protest should not be used for political interests. He warned that political involvement could divert attention from the core issue.
Salman Khan also said political parties should not hijack the movement for their own interests. He expressed hope that the government would accept the students’ legitimate demands and take appropriate action.
Protests have continued in Delhi over allegations of question paper leaks in NEET and other competitive examinations. Several police personnel were injured during clashes with protesters at Jantar Mantar, prompting additional security deployment.
Student organizations are demanding reforms to the examination system and accountability over the alleged leaks. Actors Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi, and Prakash Raj have also expressed solidarity with the students’ protest.
