The announcement came on Friday afternoon during a discussion meeting organized by the BNP at the Ramna Engineering Institute Auditorium to mark Independence and National Day. As Tarique Rahman was leaving the stage amidst thunderous slogans from party supporters, he smiled and waved, telling the crowd, “I will be at the Nayapaltan office tomorrow. I want to see you all.” His direct interaction with the grassroots members has revitalized the party’s morale.

Earlier, the discussion session featured prominent university teachers, intellectuals, and senior party leaders who reflected on the history and significance of the Great Liberation War. The meeting was presided over by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, with Chairman Tarique Rahman attending as the chief guest. Security measures around Nayapaltan are expected to be tightened ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit tomorrow.
