বাংলাMohamed Salah continued his impressive start at Trabzonspor after leaving Liverpool, scoring a brilliant hat-trick against Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray.
Mohamed Salah not only scored three goals but also provided the assist for Noah Savio’s goal as Trabzonspor secured a commanding 4-0 victory over Galatasaray.
Salah opened the scoring in the fourth minute after carrying the ball from midfield and calmly finishing past the opposition defence. In the 39th minute, his excellent pass set up Noah Savio for Trabzonspor’s second goal.
Just before halftime, in the 44th minute, Mohamed Salah scored his second goal with assistance from Frankulino Djú. He completed his hat-trick in the 80th minute with a trademark side-foot finish.
Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk was sent off in the 71st minute after his team fell further behind. Their midfielder Leslie Ugochukwu was also shown a straight red card in the 87th minute, leaving the visitors with 10 players.
The victory moved Trabzonspor to fifth place with three wins from six matches, while Galatasaray suffered their first defeat after starting the match with five consecutive unbeaten games.
The hat-trick also helped Mohamed Salah achieve a rare feat. He became the first foreign player since the 2000-01 season to score in each of his first three matches at Trabzonspor’s home ground.
