  • 🎓 Azizi Warns of Protests if Educational Qualification Requirement for Managing Committee Chairs Is Removed

✍️ Secretary General of the MPO-listed Education Nationalization Expectation Alliance, Principal Delwar Hossain Azizi, has warned of launching a protest movement if the government removes the educational qualification requirement for chairpersons of governing bodies or managing committees in educational institutions.

He made the remarks in a Facebook post on Thursday (March 12), stating that teachers would not accept the dominance of uneducated individuals in educational institutions.

Teachers Express Concern Over Proposed Policy

Azizi said that if the educational qualification requirement for managing committee or governing body chairpersons is abolished, the alliance would be forced to announce protest programs.

“We will never accept the supervision of uneducated individuals in educational institutions. I hope all concerned will reconsider the matter wisely,” he wrote in his post.

Earlier on March 10, Azizi also spoke about the issue during a Facebook Live session, where he said that the proposal to remove the educational qualification requirement for governing body chairpersons had disappointed the teaching community.

He argued that most MPO-listed educational institutions are run through governing bodies, and that removing the qualification requirement could lead to irregularities in recruitment and financial dealings.

According to him, if recruitment processes are handled directly by the government, political individuals may lose interest in becoming involved with these institutions because they would no longer have personal benefits there.
