Authorities in Gaibandha’s Sundarganj upazila seized 72 sacks of government relief rice during a night অভিযান. The rice, allocated under the Vulnerable Group Feeding (VGF) program, weighed nearly four tons.
The operation was carried out in Kishamat Holdia village under Dhopadanga union. Acting on a tip-off, officials recovered the rice from a private residence. Authorities confirmed that the seized stock was part of official relief distribution for vulnerable people.

Relief mismanagement in Sundarganj has been reported before. Previous incidents include protests and allegations of corruption. This latest ঘটনা has again raised public concern.
