বাংলাThe government has decided to keep the prices of fuel oils unchanged for the upcoming month of April. A notification was issued by the Energy Division of the Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources on Tuesday (March 31, 2026).
Implementation of Automatic Pricing Formula
According to the notification, the decision was made in light of the ‘Automatic Fuel Pricing Guidelines (Revised)’. The new rates will come into effect starting from April 1, 2026. This regular adjustment aims to align domestic prices with the international market while maintaining stability for consumers.
Current Fuel Rates in Bangladesh
Under the new order, the price of Diesel remains at 100 BDT per liter, and Octane will continue to be sold at 120 BDT per liter. Additionally, the price of Petrol has been kept at 116 BDT per liter, while Kerosene will remain at 112 BDT per liter at the consumer level.
The Energy Division confirmed that these prices will be applicable across all fuel pumps and distribution points nationwide from the first day of the new month.
