Nationwide 7th Batch of Freelancing Training Program Launched in Bangladesh

  • The Department of Youth Development has officially launched the 7th batch of its three-month freelancing training program across all 64 districts of Bangladesh.

    The program was inaugurated by State Minister for Youth and Sports Md. Aminul Haque, who emphasized the importance of developing skilled human resources to meet the growing demands of the digital economy.

    A total of 4,800 young participants have been selected for this batch. They will receive training in computer applications, digital marketing, graphic design, video editing, freelancing, English communication, and soft skills.

    The project aims to train 36,000 educated youths between 2024 and 2027. According to project officials, over 19,000 trainees have already completed the program, and around 60 percent are now earning through local and international freelancing marketplaces.

    The three-month course includes 600 hours of training, mentoring support, and certificates upon successful completion, helping participants build sustainable careers in the digital economy.
