বাংলাStaff Report: The Indian Visa Application Center (IVAC) in Bangladesh has issued new guidelines for booking Indian visa appointments. Under the new rules, applicants cannot book an appointment for the same day and can only select available dates within the following two weeks.
IVAC issued the guideline on Tuesday (October 6). According to the notice, Indian visa appointments for the following two weeks will be opened on Thursday or the last working day of the week. However, availability will depend on the relevant mission and visa department.
The guideline states that, subject to slot availability, Indian visa appointments will be open for booking from Sunday to Thursday between 12:00pm and 5:00pm, and on Saturday between 10:00am and 12:00pm.
Applicants cannot book an appointment for the same day. Instead, they can only select Indian visa appointments for dates available within the next two weeks.
Since appointment availability depends on the relevant mission and visa department, applicants should check the available dates and times carefully when making a booking.
The new guideline also indicates that opening hours do not guarantee that the same number of appointment slots will be available every time. Applicants are therefore advised to follow the latest updates from IVAC.
