A surprising claim has emerged regarding their absence. Portuguese television presenter Cristina Ferreira reportedly said that Ronaldo’s mother Dolores, older brother Hugo and sisters Elma and Katia learned about the wedding only 30 seconds before it took place.
According to Ferreira, Ronaldo’s five children and four witnesses were present at the ceremony. Ronaldo and Georgina reportedly married privately in Cascais, Portugal, on August 11.
However, the claim that Ronaldo’s family learned of the Ronaldo wedding news just 30 seconds beforehand has not been independently confirmed. It is based primarily on the television presenter’s comments and media reports.
Some reports have suggested that Dolores had reservations about Ronaldo marrying Georgina. However, after the wedding news became public, she reportedly congratulated her son and Georgina on social media. Ronaldo’s sister Katia also reacted to wedding photos with a heart emoji.
As a result, it remains unclear whether there is any actual rift within the family. Ronaldo and Georgina reportedly held a simple and private ceremony with their five children nearby.
Following the wedding, Ronaldo returned to Saudi Arabia with Georgina. He has yet to feature for Al Nassr in the new season because he is reportedly not fully fit.
