The champions will receive 50 million dollars (approximately BDT 616 crore), while the runners-up will earn 33 million dollars. Teams finishing third and fourth will also receive substantial prize money.
Quarter-finalists, Round of 16 teams, Round of 32 teams, and even nations eliminated in the group stage are guaranteed financial rewards based on their tournament performance.
FIFA distributes the prize money directly to the respective football associations, which then allocate funds for player bonuses, coaching staff, and football development programs.
The record-breaking prize fund reflects FIFA’s growing revenue and the expanding scale of the FIFA World Cup.
