বাংলাGold price in Bangladesh has decreased again after two consecutive hikes, according to the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (Bajus).
Under the new rate, the price of 22-carat gold has been reduced by Tk 2,216 per bhori, setting the latest gold price in Bangladesh at Tk 242,495 per bhori.
Bajus stated that the adjustment was made due to a decline in pure gold prices in the local market. The revised gold price in Bangladesh became effective from Friday morning.
The updated rates also set 21-carat gold at Tk 231,472 per bhori and 18-carat gold at Tk 198,405 per bhori.
So far this year, Bajus has adjusted the gold price in Bangladesh 64 times, increasing prices 35 times and reducing them 29 times.
