বাংলাProtesting HSC examinees resumed their Science Lab student protest after marching from the Science Lab intersection to Dhaka University and surrounding the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.
Later in the afternoon, the students returned to the Science Lab intersection, blocking traffic and causing severe congestion in nearby areas. They continued chanting slogans demanding the resignation of the Education Adviser.
The protesters alleged that the examination schedule did not provide enough preparation time between difficult subjects. They said the Science Lab student protest would continue until their demands receive a clear response.
A senior Dhaka Metropolitan Police official urged the students to submit their demands in writing so they could be forwarded to the government. However, the protesters rejected the proposal, saying the Science Lab student protest would continue until they receive a specific commitment and implementation timeline.
