Indian opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has strongly criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the medical entrance exam paper leak controversy.
In a post on X, Rahul Gandhi accused the government of failing to protect students’ futures and allowing the education system to deteriorate. He said those responsible had been shielded instead of being held accountable.
Rahul Gandhi demanded the dismissal of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, an apology to students, and action against those accused of attacking protesting students.
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi announced that special courts would be established to ensure swift punishment for those involved in exam paper leaks, stressing that the government would not spare anyone who harms students’ futures.
Political analysts believe Rahul Gandhi‘s remarks have intensified the debate over accountability and reforms in India’s education system.
