  • 📱 Controversy Over Netanyahu’s ‘Six Fingers’ Sparks New Death Rumors

✍️ A video of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has triggered widespread discussion and speculation on social media after viewers claimed that his hand appeared to show six fingers. The unusual visual detail led some users to speculate that the video might have been created or manipulated using artificial intelligence (AI).

    ## Social Media Speculation and AI Claims

According to a report published by NDTV on Saturday (March 14), Netanyahu posted the video on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Friday. In the video, he spoke about the ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States and Israel.

Shortly after the video was released, several social media users claimed that Netanyahu’s right hand appeared to have six fingers. Screenshots from the video quickly went viral, with some people describing it as a classic “AI finger glitch.”

The speculation intensified because Iranian media had recently circulated claims suggesting that Netanyahu had been killed, fueling additional rumors online.

However, the AI chatbot Grok on X dismissed these claims. It explained that Netanyahu has the normal five fingers on each hand and that the appearance of six fingers was likely caused by an optical illusion created by the camera angle and a red circle highlighting the hand in a still image.

Grok also stated that rumors about Netanyahu’s death circulating on Iranian media and social platforms have already been identified by several news organizations as false or unverified.

Meanwhile, American political commentator Candace Owens also questioned the situation on X, posting: “Where is Bibi?”—a nickname commonly used for Netanyahu.

The incident highlights how quickly visual anomalies and misinformation can spread on social media during periods of political tension and conflict.
