বাংলাBangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (Ansar-VDP) held special prayers and a munajat at its headquarters and all units across the country on the occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi. The program was held after the Zuhr prayer on Wednesday, August 26, to remember the life, teachings and humanitarian values of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
According to a press release from Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party, messages from the President and Prime Minister were read at the headquarters and all units. Director General Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud attended the special prayer at the headquarters mosque, along with senior officials and employees.
During the Eid-e-Miladunnabi program, the Holy Quran was recited and Durood and Salam were offered. Emphasis was placed on following the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) teachings of humanity, equality, brotherhood, justice, honesty and peace.
The special munajat sought peace, prosperity and welfare for Bangladesh, protection of the country’s independence and sovereignty, and the overall development of Ansar-VDP. Prayers were also offered for the wellbeing of members and their families and for the forgiveness of the souls of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country. The Eid-e-Miladunnabi program also included prayers for the recovery of people who are ill or facing difficulties.
Additional Director General Brigadier General Mamunur Rashid, deputy directors general and officials from different levels attended the program. Quality food was also served to patients receiving treatment at the Ansar-VDP Academy Hospital.
The life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) provide lessons in honesty, trustworthiness, justice, discipline, responsibility and humanity. During Eid-e-Miladunnabi, Ansar-VDP members were encouraged to follow these values and serve the country and its people with responsibility and compassion.
The occasion was observed at all units under Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party. Through prayers and a renewed commitment to following the Prophet’s (PBUH) teachings, the Eid-e-Miladunnabi observance strengthened the religious and moral spirit of Ansar-VDP members.
