The visit was confirmed in a schedule signed by the President’s Protocol Officer, Abul Kalam Md. Lutfur Rahman, on Tuesday. During this trip, the President will spend time with his relatives and visit significant local sites. This visit holds personal importance as he plans to offer prayers at his parents’ graves.
Itinerary of the Presidential Visit to Pabna
According to the schedule, the President will depart for Pabna on Saturday, March 28, at 1:00 PM. He is expected to arrive at the Pabna Cadet College helipad by 1:45 PM. Upon arrival, he will receive a Guard of Honor at the Circuit House. On Sunday, March 29, the President will visit the Arifpur Central Graveyard at 11:00 AM. Later that evening, he will hold an exchange of views with local journalists at the Pabna Press Club.
Family Meetings and Return to Bangabhaban
On Monday, March 30, the President is scheduled to visit the Bhavanipur Mosque in Sadar Upazila. Afterward, he will head to his family residence in the Jubilee Tank area to meet with close relatives. The four-day visit will conclude on Tuesday, March 31, when he departs from Pabna Cadet College for Bangabhaban. Local authorities, including the District Commissioner, have already held preparatory meetings to ensure a smooth and secure visit.
