The Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment, with support from the European Union, held a key meeting on the Talent Partnership Project to expand global employment opportunities for skilled workers.
The meeting discussed registering trained workers under the Talent Partnership Project on the Overseas Employment Platform (OEP), enabling international employers to recruit qualified Bangladeshi workers more efficiently.
Officials said the Talent Partnership Project will help increase skilled migration to Europe and other countries while ensuring safe, regular, and ethical migration.
The International Labour Organization (ILO) is implementing the project, and preparations to integrate trained workers into the OEP database are nearly complete under the Talent Partnership Project.
Authorities expect the dedicated microsite to be launched by mid-August, allowing the Talent Partnership Project to strengthen Bangladesh’s global workforce placement.
