According to the US Navy, the fighter jet collision involved two EA-18G Growler aircraft performing tactical maneuvers during the event.
The incident occurred during the final day of the ‘Gunfighter Skies’ air show near Mountain Home Air Force Base. Following the fighter jet collision, a fire broke out in the area and the base was temporarily locked down.
