  • Education Minister Dr. Milan Unveils the Future of Bangladesh’s Academic System

Education Minister Dr. Milan has recently announced a series of groundbreaking reforms aimed at modernizing the national curriculum and ensuring absolute accountability. Speaking at a strategic exchange meeting with center secretaries at the Shilpakala Academy in Comilla, the minister addressed the evolving needs of students. Education Minister  emphasized that these changes are designed to bridge the gap between urban and rural education while maintaining high standards of integrity.

Online Classes: A Strategic Vision for Metropolitan Areas

A key highlight of the address by Education Minister  was the clarification regarding digital learning. He stated that online classes are primarily intended for metropolitan cities to optimize resources. Addressing concerns about power consumption, Dr. Milan provided a practical comparison: a school building running 60 fans for a mass of students consumes significantly more energy than a single student using a fan or solar-powered IPS at home. This vision ensures that Education Minister Dr. Milan leverages existing family infrastructure for sustainable digital growth.

Mandatory CCTV Surveillance for Total Transparency

To uphold the sanctity of the evaluation process, Education Minister Dr. Milan has mandated the installation of permanent CCTV cameras in all examination centers. This technology will not only be active during exams but will serve as a tool for Education Minister Dr. Milan to monitor daily classroom instructions. Furthermore, schools showing a zero percent pass rate will be granted a grace period for improvement under strict observation, ensuring that Education Minister  prioritizes reform over immediate MPO cancellation.

Eliminating Coaching Centers Through In-House Solutions

Education Minister Dr. Milan has taken a bold stance against commercial coaching centers, proposing their phased closure. In their place, schools will implement “In-House Coaching” facilities. Under the guidance of Dr. Milan, these sessions will provide targeted support for students in weaker subjects, significantly reducing the financial burden on parents and ensuring equal opportunities within the school gates.

    Modernizing the Public Examinations Act

Recognizing the shift in academic malpractice, Education Minister Dr. Milan confirmed that the Public Examinations Act of 1980 is undergoing modernization. The new legal framework championed by Education Minister will include strict penalties for digital cheating and hold institutional heads directly accountable. By revisiting successful anti-cheating measures from the 2001-2006 era, Dr. Milan aims to restore a merit-based system that treats education as a sacred duty (Sadaqah Jariyah).
