The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has issued a strict deadline of April 1 to Teletalk for finalizing the software intended for the transfer of MPO-listed teachers in private educational institutions. Following the integration of institutional heads, assistant heads, and staff into the transfer process, significant updates to the software are currently underway. DSHE sources confirmed on Saturday (March 28) that data collection from the field level will commence immediately after the deadline.
Data Collection to Begin Post-Deadline
An official from DSHE, speaking on condition of anonymity, revealed that if the software is ready by April 1, a formal notification for collecting teacher-staff data will be issued the same day. “Once the data collection is complete, we will open the portal for transfer applications. Teachers and staff will then be able to apply for transfers through the automated system,” the official added. This move aims to streamline the long-awaited process for thousands of private educators.
From Recruitment to Automated Transfer
Previously, MPO-listed teachers had no direct transfer options and had to apply through NTRCA’s mass circulars to change institutions. However, this opportunity was restricted from the 4th mass circular onwards for index-holders. Following widespread teacher protests, the Ministry of Education formulated a transfer policy. Although delayed by legal challenges and policy revisions, the final approval of the software was granted before Eid-ul-Fitr, paving the way for the April 1 launch of the final preparation phase.
